1. Target-driven road vehicle suspension design
Abstract : This thesis is focused on suspension hardpoint and bushing compliance design with new reverse engineering methods that are based on kinematics and compliance constraints. The kinematic reverse design method is implemented into a conceptual front axle development. The results show that, using this method, the design lead time is reduced by half. READ MORE

2. Driving it home! Exploring and enhancing the adoption of eco-driving
Abstract : One strategy to reduce the environmental impact of the transport sector is to increase the adoption of eco-driving among both professional and private drivers. Attempts to introduce eco-driving have though had varying success, and many questions remain to be answered. READ MORE

3. Value Driven Design : a methodology for value-oriented decision making in preliminary design
Abstract : Making design decisions during preliminary design of a complex product, such as an aircraft, is a difficult activity. Numerous teams, acting on a global scale, take part in such design activities, approaching the problem from different perspectives and at different levels of granularity. READ MORE

4. Design in Telemedicine : Development and Implementation of Usable Computer Systems
Abstract : Designing computer systems that effectively support the user is the major goal within human-computer interaction. To achieve this, we must understand and master several tasks. This process must initially deal with the question of knowing what to develop and later, with the question of knowing how to design and develop the system. READ MORE

5. Exploration and Optimization of Building Design Solutions using Computational Design
Abstract : The focus of building design is increasingly moving towards considering performance as a driver, which can especially be seen in the realm of sustainable or green building design due to the advent of ambitious goals regarding energy consumption and emissions. Accounting for these concerns is an important target of the building design process, where there is a potential to make valuable contributions. READ MORE
