  1. 1. Rehabilitation and everyday life in people with stress-related ill health

    Author : Therese Eriksson; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : The overall aim was to explore and describe knowledge of the perceived occupational repertoire in people with stress-related ill health and their experiences from the rehabilitation process, with a specific focus on rehabilitation in a therapeutic garden and how the rehabilitation experiences are connecting with everyday life. Study I was a cross-sectional study that aimed to describe and compare how occupational gaps were reported in everyday occupations in a rehabilitation group of people with musculoskeletal pain or stress-related ill health and in a reference group from the Swedish population. 2. 2. Cation Conduction and Coordination in Carbonyl-Containing Compounds : Li+ Transport in Alternative Polymer Electrolyte Host Materials

    Author : Therese Eriksson; Daniel Brandell; Jonas Mindemark; Claudio Gerbaldi; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Solid polymer electrolytes; Lithium ion batteries; Ion transport; Polyester; Polycarbonate; Polyketone; Ion coordination; Kemi med inriktning mot materialkemi; Chemistry with specialization in Materials Chemistry;

    Abstract : The field of solid polymer electrolytes (SPEs) used to create safer lithium-ion batteries has been dominated by polyethylene oxide (PEO) since the discovery of its ion-conducting properties in the 1970s. In this thesis, as an alternative, the ion coordination and conduction properties of SPEs based on polyketones, polyesters and polycarbonates are investigated. READ MORE

  3. 3. Designing the Design Organisation: Client-consultant coordination in a large infrastructure project

    Author : Therese Eriksson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; organisational heuristics; infrastructure; project routines; practice approach; megaprojects; public projects; organisational routines; coordination;

    Abstract : Large infrastructure projects are unique and last for a long time, but they are still temporary organisations. The technology involved is often complex, and the uncertainty is high. Managing such projects and coordinating all the actors involved is a complicated task for both suppliers and clients. READ MORE

  4. 4. Exploiting Drosophila as a model system for studying anaplastic lymphoma kinase in vivo

    Author : Therese Eriksson; Ruth Palmer; Stefan Thor; Umeå universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Anaplastic lymphoma kinase; Receptor tyrosine kinase; Jeb; neuroblastoma; actin polymerization; Wasp; Scar; Vrp1; Arp2 3; Molecular biology; Molekylärbiologi; molekylärbiologi; Molecular Biology;

    Abstract : Anaplastic Lymphoma Kinase (ALK) is a Receptor Tyrosine Kinase (RTK) and an oncogene associated with several human diseases, but its normal function in humans and other vertebrates is unclear. Drosophila melanogaster has an ALK homolog, demonstrating that the RTK has been conserved throughout evolution. READ MORE

  5. 5. Serotonin in emotional memory processes : neuropharmacological studies with emphasis on depression

    Author : Therese M Eriksson; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Cognitive dysfunctions are common in neuropsychiatric disorders including Major Depressive Disorder, but are difficult to normalize by antidepressant therapies and contribute to reduced functional improvement. Cognitive impairments include alterations of emotional memory processes that are early targeted by antidepressant therapies, including Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs). READ MORE
