13. Throughput Analysis of Interfering Packet Radio Networks
Abstract : In this thesis, a probabilistic framework is presented and used for analysis of the throughput of interfering packet-based radio networks, referred to as packet radio networks (PRNs). Previous research on the performance of PRNs covers a wide variety of systems and aspects in varying levels of detail. READ MORE

14. Preparations for the next solar WIMP Analysis with IceCube : Advances in simulation, filtering, event topology identification and analysis approach
Abstract : In the year 2011 the construction of IceCube, a neutrino observatory buried in deep clear Antarctic ice, was completed. IceCube now consists of an array of 5160 digital light detection modules assembled on 86 strings, which encloses a instrumented volume of roughly 1~km$^3$ optimized for detection of neutrinos down to energies of 100~GeV. 15. Convergence Analysis and Design of Multiple Concatenated Codes
Abstract : The objective of this thesis is to develop a methodology for designing efficient multiple concatenated coding schemes, consisting of two or more constituent codes, concatenated in serial or in parallel. Extrinsic information transfer (EXIT) analysis is found to be a suitable and versatile analysis tool for such codes and thus, the design methodology is based almost entirely on this technique.
