  1. 1. Exploring next-generation sequencing in chronic lymphocytic leukemia

    Author : Viktor Ljungström; Tobias Sjöblom; Richard Rosenquist; Larry Mansouri; Mats Nilsson; Catherine J. Wu; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; CLL; next-generation sequencing; clonal evolution; stereotypy; RPS15; NFKBIE; Medical Genetics; Medicinsk genetik;

    Abstract : Next-generation sequencing (NGS) techniques have led to major breakthroughs in the characterization of the chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) genome with discovery of recurrent mutations of potential prognostic and/or predictive relevance. However, before NGS can be introduced into clinical practice, the precision of the techniques needs to be studied in better detail. READ MORE

  2. 2. Decision Models for the Procurement of Subsidised Air Services

    Author : Alan Kinene; Tobias Andersson Granberg; Valentin Polishchuk; Clas Rydergren; Svein Bråthen; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY;

    Abstract : Small communities or remote regions are usually ignored by airlines because they have insufficient passenger demand and the air services to and from these regions are unprofitable. Free market conditions would lead to the lack of air connectivity to and from remote regions, hence transportation authorities intervene by procuring air services to guarantee improved accessibility for these regions. 3. 3. Models for the Procurement of Subsidized Air Services : Conventional Aircraft and the Adoption of Electric Aircraft

    Author : Alan Kinene; Tobias Andersson Granberg; Clas Rydergren; Valentin Polishchuk; Jesper Larsen; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : In liberalized air transportation markets, governments often adopt subsidy schemes through which they ensure air services along routes that are deemed commercially non-viable but economically and socially essential. The objective of these subsidized air service routes is to ensure a minimum level of services to outlying communities or remote regions that are difficult to access—by other modes of transportation—from the capital, other main cities or a hub airport yet can not be served commercially due to thin demand. 4. 4. Conformal chemical vapor deposition of boron carbide thin films

    Author : Arun Haridas Choolakkal; Jens Birch; Henrik Pedersen; Hans Högberg; Tobias Törndahl; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : The sustainability goals of the modern world and the fascinating properties of sub-micron scale materials promote development of materials in thin film form. Thin films are materials that have thicknesses ranging from sub-nanometer to several micrometers, synthesized by various deposition techniques. READ MORE

  5. 5. Emotion Regulation in Pain : Developing Effective Interventions for Patients with Pain and Emotional Distress

    Author : Martin Södermark; Hugo Hesser; Björn Gerdle; Ida Flink; Katja Boersma; Tobias Lundgren; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : Chronic pain and emotional problems are common, often co-occur, and result in substantial suffering and social costs. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a family of treatments that have been extensively studied and has empirical support for its effectiveness in treating both conditions. READ MORE
