  2. 2. Multi-point Measurements of Ultra Low Frequency Waves in the Terrestrial Magnetosphere

    Author : Tommy Eriksson; Lars Blomberg; Ian Mann; KTH; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Space physics; Rymdfysik;

    Abstract : Waves in the mHz frequency range are prominent features of the terrestrial magnetosphere. In this frequency range the waves have wavelengths comparable to the lengths of the geomagnetic field lines. The waves are then standing waves along closed field lines with endpoints in the southern and northern ionosphere. READ MORE

    Abstract : Thalidomide has a chiral center and the racemate of (+)-(R) and (-)-(S)-thalidomide was introduced as a hypnotic/sedative drug in 1957. In 1961 it was withdrawn due to teratogenicity and neuropathy. There is a growing interest in thalidomide treatment of immunomodulatory diseases. READ MORE

    Abstract : The general aim of the present thesis was to investigate the determinants of car users’ switching to public transport when driving to work. Since the quality of services is particularly low in medium-sized cities, making the car a much more attractive option, the studies focus on car-use in such cities. Four studies were conducted.
