  1. 1. Fastighetsförvaltning med miljöproblemen i fokus : om miljöstyrning och uppföljning av minskad miljöpåverkan i fastighetsförvaltande organisationer

    Author : Tove Malmqvist; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; environmental management systems; real estate management; environmental impact; environmental performance; Civil engineering and architecture; Samhällsbyggnadsteknik och arkitektur;

    Abstract : Many of our most important and debated environmental problems of today have a tight relationship to the built environment. Examples are energy use, diffusion of chemical compounds through building materials and products and negative health impacts caused by emissions to indoor environments. READ MORE

  2. 2. Methodological aspects of environmental assessment of buildings

    Author : Tove Malmqvist; Mauritz Glaumann; Göran Finnveden; Raymond J Cole; KTH; []

    Abstract : The built environment contributes extensively to the overall environmental impact of society. An increasing number of tools have been developed worldwide for comprehensive environmental assessment and rating of buildings in order to make the building sector more sustainable. READ MORE

  3. 3. Managing high environmental performance? : Applying life cycle approaches and environmental certification tools in the building and real estate sectors

    Author : Nils W. O. Brown; Tove Malmqvist; Peter Guthrie; KTH; []

    Abstract : Fulfilling climate targets requires ambitious changes. The building sector is a large contributor to emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG), but also offers opportunities for climate change impact reductions. READ MORE

  5. 5. Decision support for the implementation of low-carbon measures in the building sector

    Author : Nicolas Francart; Tove Malmqvist; Paula Femenias; KTH; []

    Abstract : The building sector is responsible for about a fifth to a third of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Therefore, a successful mitigation of GHG emissions over the entire life cycle of buildings is particularly important to achieve climate targets such as the Paris Agreement. READ MORE
