6. Shifting Shadows : Private Tutoring and the Formation of Education in Imperial, Soviet and Post-Soviet Russia
Abstract : This dissertation aims to provide a genealogy of the relations between the public and the private in education. It does so by the exploring how public education and private tutoring form and transform each other and why they are seen as legitimate or problematic in different historical and cultural contexts. 7. Time-resolved CVD of Group 13-Nitrides
Abstract : Group 13 nitrides (AlN, GaN and InN) and their alloys are semiconductor materials with a wide bandgap span covering from UV down to IR range. Their excellent electronic properties make them extremely attractive materials for light emitting diodes (LEDs) and different kind of transistor structures, especially high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs). 8. Growth and Characterization of ZrB2 Thin Films
Abstract : In this thesis, growth of ZrB2 thin films by direct current magnetron sputtering is investigatedusing a high vacuum industrial scale deposition system and an ultra-high vacuum laboratory scalesystem. The films were grown from ZrB2 compound targets at temperatures ranging from ambient (without external heating) to 900 °C and with substrate biases from -20 to -120 V. READ MORE

9. ZrB2 Thin Films : Growth and Characterization
Abstract : Zirconium diboride, ZrB2, is a ceramic material with bulk properties such as high melting point (3245 °C), high hardness (23 GPa), and low resistivity (~8 μΩcm). Thin film growth of ZrB2 using physical vapor deposition has suffered from problems with films deviating from stoichiometry and with high levels of contaminants, especially high oxygen content.
