  1. 1. A Formalized Approach to Multi-View Components for Embedded Systems : Applied to Tool Integration, Run-Time Adaptivity and Architecture Exploration

    Author : Magnus Persson; Martin Törngren; De-Jiu Chen; Werner Damm; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; view; viewpoint; architecture; component; view integration; architecture exploration; component-based development; multi-view modeling; model-based design; CESAR; DySCAS; ESPRESSO;

    Abstract : Development of embedded systems poses an increasing challenge fordevelopers largely due to increasing complexity. Several factors contribute tothe complexity challenge:• the number of extra-functional properties applying to embedded systems,such as resource usage, timing effects, safety. READ MORE

    Abstract : Advancements in three dimensional (3D) technologies are rapidly increasing. Three Dimensional Television (3DTV) aims at creating 3D experience for the home user. Moreover, multiview autostereoscopic displays provide a depth impression without the requirement for any special glasses and can be viewed from multiple locations. READ MORE

  4. 4. Functional product development : an explorative view

    Author : Åsa Ericson; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Funktionella produkter; Functional Product Development; Computer Aided Design; Datorstödd maskinkonstruktion;

    Abstract : Embodied in the concept of functional products is a shift in view for manufacturing companies as providers of physical artefacts to service providers. Furthermore, differentiation by offering added value, increased commitment towards customers, life-cycle commitment for the physical artefact and close collaboration between manufacturing companies are characteristics of the concept of functional products. 5. 5. The hematopoietic transcription factor RUNX1 : a structural view

    Author : Stefan Bäckström; Umeå universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Molecular medicine; RUNX1; Runt domain; CBFβ; transcription factor; leukaemia; protein crystallography; anomalous diffraction; Molekylärmedicin; Molecular medicine genetics and pathology ; Molekylär medicin genetik och patologi ; molekylärbiologi; Molecular Biology;

    Abstract : The malfunction of the transcriptional regulator RUNX1 is the major cause of several variants of acute human leukemias and its normal function is to regulate the development of the blood system in concert with other transcriptional co-regulators. RUNX1 belongs to a conserved family of heterodimeric transcription factors that share a conserved DNA binding domain, the Runt domain (RD), named after the first member of this group – Runt - found in Drosophila melanogaster.
