1. Well Testing, Methods and Applicability
Abstract : Well testing is widely used today in water wells, oil and gas wells, for geothermal applications, within civil engineering projects, thermal storage and CO2 storage. The overall testing goal is to verify the productivity from a well and/or for characterization of hydraulic and thermal properties, as well as the spatial limitations of an aquifer. READ MORE

2. Distributed vehicle testing : dynamic simulation for automotive winter testing
Abstract : Today, rather than provide parts similar to their competitors and rely on one or two automakers, successful automotive component suppliers focus heavily on innovation and collaboration with several manufacturers in a global market. In this thesis, an as-is scenario for automotive winter testing is presented. READ MORE

4. Studies of cell-on-chip technology and basophil regulation for improved allergy diagnostics
Abstract : Allergic diseases affect approximately 30% of adults and has an impact on both the individual’s quality of life as well as an economic impact on society. Two effector cells involved in allergic disease are mast cells and basophils, where basophils are more readily available in blood and therefore of great interest when studying allergy. READ MORE

5. Mechanical and Environmental Durability of High Performance Bio-based Composites
Abstract : This study is an initial step within the on-going project on development of high performance bio-based composites with improved mechanical (fatigue) and environmental (elevated humidity and temperature) durability. In the presented thesis the performance of cellulosic fibers (flax and regenerated cellulose), bio-based resins (Tribest, EpoBioX, Palapreg, and Envirez) and their composites under exposure to elevated humidity has been studied.
