1. Through air drying : The influence of formation and pulp type on non-uniform drying and air flow
Abstract : The removal of water is an integral part of tissue paper production. Through air drying (TAD) is used for water removal when producing premium tissue grade products, however, at the price of higher energy demand. A better understanding of TAD may therefore lower the energy demand. READ MORE

2. Through air drying : Thermographic studies of drying rates, drying non-uniformity and infrared assisted drying
Abstract : The removal of water is an integral part of papermaking. The drying process is responsible for a great share of the energy used in the paper machine. Premium grade tissue products are dried by through air drying. Large volumes of natural gas are burned to heat the air drawn through the paper web to achieve the drying. READ MORE

3. Contaminant transport by air infiltration from crawl space to occupant area: Numerical simulations and field measurements in Swedish schools
Abstract : Some Swedish school buildings built in the 1960’s and 1970’s have indoor air quality problems. Many of these buildings have a crawl space from which contaminants are suspected to originate. The poor indoor air quality cause discomfort among pupils and teachers and a solution to the problem is not always found. READ MORE

5. Moisture permeability of mature concrete, cement mortar and cement paste
Abstract : Moisture permeability tests were performed on specimens of concrete, cement mortar and cement paste with the bottom side in water or in moist air and the upper side in a relative humidity of 33 %. The distribution of the relative humidity within the specimen was measured, at stationary conditions, as well as the amount of water which pass through the specimen. READ MORE
