  2. 2. Reconfigurable Analog to Digital Converters for Low Power Wireless Applications

    Author : E. Martin I. Gustafsson; Ana Rusu; Georges Gielen; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Integrated Circuits; Analog to Digital Converters; Wireless communication; Electronics Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Electronics; Elektronik;

    Abstract : The commercialization of Marconi’s radio transmission and reception, along with the development of integrated circuits in the 1960’s have facilitated many new consumer products for wireless communication, where the mobile phones or handsets are one. These handsets started out as a portable phone, mounted in cars, and have with time added additional services as Short Message Service, and have today become a media center with global positioning, and high-speed internet connection. 3. 3. On Reduction of Substrate Noise in Mixed-Signal Circuits

    Author : Erik Backenius; Mark Vesterbacka; Jan-Erik Eklund; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; mixed-signal; substrate noise; substrate modeling; simultaneous switching noise; SSN; digital; analog; clock; Electronics; Elektronik;

    Abstract : Microelectronics is heading towards larger and larger systems implemented on a single chip. In wireless communication equipment, e.g., cellular phones, handheld computers etc. READ MORE

  4. 4. Reduction of Substrate Noise in Mixed-Signal Circuits

    Author : Erik Backenius; Mark Vesterbacka; Kejll O. Jeppson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Mixed-signal; Substrate noise; Substrate modeling; Simultaneous switching noise; SSN; Digital; Analog; Clock; Electronics; Elektronik;

    Abstract : In many consumer products, e.g., cellular phones and handheld computers, both digital and analog circuits are required. Nowadays, it is possible to implement a large subsystem or even a complete system, that earlier required several chips, on a single chip. READ MORE

  5. 5. Modeling Analog to Digital Converters at Radio Frequency

    Author : Niclas Björsell; Peter Händel; Niclas Keskitalo; Linus Michaeli; KTH; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; ADC; Analog to Digital Converters; Signal processing; Telecommunication; Telekommunikation; Electronics;

    Abstract : Det här arbetet handlar om att ta fram beteendemodeller av analog till digital omvandlare avsedda för tillämpningar i radiofrekvensområdet. Det gäller tillämpningar inom telekommunikation men även in test- och mätinstrument där omvandlingen från analoga till digitala signaler ofta är en prestandamässig flaskhals. READ MORE
