21. Measurements of the 234U(n,f) Reaction with a Frisch-Grid Ionization Chamber up to En=5 MeV
Abstract : This study on the neutron-induced fission of 234U was carried out at the 7 MV Van de Graaff accelerator of IRMM in Belgium. A Twin Frisch-Grid Ionization Chamber (TFGIC) was used to study 234U(n,f) between En = 0.2 and 5.0 MeV. READ MORE

22. Neutron Halo Nuclei
Abstract : In light nuclei close to the neutron drip-line a spatially extended neutron distribution, the neutron, halo occurs. This is due to the relatively small binding energy of the last neutrons which makes possible quantum mechanical tunnelling of the last neutron(s) far away from the nuclear core. READ MORE

23. The (γ,p) reaction in 16O and 18O at Eγ=50 - 70 MeV
Abstract : A measurement of the reactions 16O(γ,p)15N and 18O(γ,p)17N have been made with tagged photons in the energy range Eγ ≈ 50 – 70 MeV. The protons have been detected in ΔE-E telescopes with silicon strip detectors as ΔE detectors and HPGe crystals as E detectors. READ MORE

24. UV-photoelectron spectroscopy of free atoms and molecules at near 1 meV resolution
Abstract : Results of ultraviolet photoelectron spectroscopy experiments on free atoms and moleculesare presented. The energy resolution and signal-to-noise ratio of the photoelectron spec-tra are such that several new observations have been possible. READ MORE

25. Optimization of breast tomosynthesis: Computer simulations of image acquisition and glandular dose
Abstract : Breast tomosynthesis (BT) is an X-ray imaging technique recently introduced as an alternative or complement to standard digital mammography (DM) in breast imaging and breast cancer screening. In BT, a set of projection images is acquired over a limited angular range and reconstructed into a volume of slice images. READ MORE
