2. High Bandgap FAPbBr3 Perovskite Solar Cells : Preparation, Characterization, and Application
Abstract : High bandgap lead-halide perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have gained interest as top cells for tandem solar cells and photoelectrochemical applications due to their suitable energy bands. However, the PSCs have limited stability and performance, and their fabrication in a glovebox and utilization of expensive metal contacts increase the cost and limit their application. READ MORE

3. Bandgap Engineering of Lead-Free Halide Double Perovskites
Abstract : Lead-free halide double perovskites (HDPs, A2BIBIIIX6) with attractive optical and electronic features are regarded as one of the most promising alternatives to overcome the toxicity and stability issues of lead halide perovskites. They provide a wide range of possible combinations and rich substitutional chemistry with interesting properties for various optoelectronic devices. READ MORE

4. Charge transport in III-V narrow bandgap semiconductor nanowires
Abstract : This thesis describes charge transport in III-V narrow bandgap semiconductor nanowires. We are particularly interested in quantum transport in InSb, InAs and InP-InAs core-shell nanowires. According to the type of transport mechanism dominating in the devices, this thesis can be divided into four parts. READ MORE

5. Optical studies of AlN and GaO based nanostructures using Mueller matrix spectroscopic ellipsometry
Abstract : This thesis explores the diverse optical properties manifested when light interacts with various materials, with an emphasis on circular polarization- and bandgaprelated phenomena. The studies in this work are centered around Mueller matrix spectroscopic ellipsometry, with the objective of synthesizing and characterizing nanostructured and high-quality thin films to expand our understanding of the optical properties arising from their underlying structure and electronic transitions, respectively.
