  1. 1. Health at Work : The Relationship between Organizational Justice, Behavioral Responses, and Health

    Author : Mats Liljegren; Kerstin Ekberg; Magnus Sverke; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Health; Burnout; Job mobility; Organizational; justice; Behavioural responses; Hälsa; utbrändhet; rörlighet; upplevdorganisatorisk rättvisa; individuellt organisatoriskt; Community medicine; Samhällsmedicin;

    Abstract : Bakgrund: Anställdas hälsa, individuella beteenden i ett organisatoriskt sammanhang och upplevd organisatorisk rättvisa är teoretiskt förenade av social utbytesteori, copingteori och teorier som beskriver konsekvenserna av social ojämlikhet. Empiriskt är förhållandet mer oklart. READ MORE

  2. 2. Phenotypic and social effects on behavioural trade-offs in Eurasian perch

    Author : Gustav Hellström; Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet; Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : Trading between conflicting demands is a fundamental part in how animals interact with its environment and social surrounding. Knowledge of what factors that are affecting behavioural decisions is central in our understanding of animal adaptation and ecology. READ MORE

  3. 3. Correlated selection responses in animal domestication : the behavioural effects of a growth QTL in chickens

    Author : Anders Wirén; Per Jensen; Elena Jazin; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Studying animal domestication offers an opportunity to understand the mechanisms of evolution. Domestication is associated with a change in selection pressures; selection for production traits is introduced, and animals are faced with larger and denser social groups. READ MORE

  4. 4. Behaviour under predation risk - antipredator strategies, behavioural syndromes and sex-specific responses in aquatic prey

    Author : Sanna Harris; Biodiversitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; phenotypic integration; Poecilia reticulata; Asellus aquaticus; behavioural syndromes; chemical cues; predation; antipredator behaviour;

    Abstract : In many natural ecosystems, predation is well recognized as a strong evolutionary force, and predator-mediated selection has been demonstrated to induce changes in prey morphology, life history and behaviour. In my thesis, I have focused on behavioural responses in aquatic prey under the risk of predation. READ MORE

  5. 5. From wolf to dog: Behavioural evolution during domestication

    Author : Christina Hansen Wheat; Hans Temrin; Clive Wynne; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Domestication syndrome; behavioural evolution; behaviorual ontogeny; correlated traits; sociability; playfulness; aggression; fear; Canis familiaris; Canis lupus; artificial selection; etologi; Ethology;

    Abstract : Biologists since Darwin have recognized that domestication, where species are selected to live in human-controlled environments, exerts strong selection on organisms and dramatically impacts their evolutionary trajectories. Across domesticated mammal species, characteristic morphological, physiological and behavioural changes occur simultaneously, as correlated traits, a phenomenon known as the domestication syndrome.
