11. Assessment of Novel Molecular Prognostic Markers in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia
Abstract : The clinical course of chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is highly heterogeneous, which has prompted the search for biomarkers that can predict prognosis in this disease. The IGHV gene mutation status and certain genomic aberrations have been identified as reliable prognostic markers of clinical outcome for this disorder. READ MORE

12. Phylogeny and species delimitation in Roccellaceae and Physciaceae (Euascomycetes)
Abstract : DNA sequence data (the ITS region and Group I Introns) from the nuclear ribosomal repeat (rDNA), partial β-tubulin gene sequences, RAPD markers, and some morphological characters were analysed phylogenetically in order to examine relationships in lichenized Euascomycetes, from the species level to higher taxonomic levels. The species level studies comprise some so-called species pairs in two families, Roccellaceae (Arthoniales) and Physciaceae (Lecanorales). READ MORE

13. Genetic, morphological and chemical variation in the genus Harpagophytum
Abstract : Harpagophytum procumbens is a valuable medicinal plant but mistakes with plant identification at harvesting, and wilful adulteration using the presumably less efficient H. zeyheri are suggested. A multidisciplinary study with plant material from Botswana was conducted. READ MORE

14. Tubificids with trifid chaetae: morphology and phylogeny of Heterodrilus (Clitellata, Annelida)
Abstract : Heterodrilus is a marine group of small (3-25 mm) clitellates that occur interstitially in sandy sediments from the intertidal zone down to about 150 m depths. The taxon includes 42 valid species and has been recorded from localities in the Mediterranean Sea, the North-west Atlantic Ocean (including the Caribbean), the Galapagos Islands, and the Indo-Pacific Region. 15. Systematics of Eucoilini : Exploring the diversity of a poorly known group of Cynipoid parasitic wasps
Abstract : Many animal species are still undiscovered, even in Sweden. This thesis deals with the wasps of the subfamily Eucoilinae (of Figitidae, Cynipoidea), a poorly known group of small parasitoids of Dipteran flies. READ MORE
