Abstract : Long-term studies after primary and revision Anterior Cruciate Ligament reconstruction using different types of autograft? with special emphasis on the clinical, radiographic, histological and ultrastructural results Mattias Lid?n Department of Orthopaedics, Institute of Clinical Sciences at Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg, G?teborg, Sweden The aim of this study was to evaluate the long-term outcome after primary ACL reconstruction surgery using either BPTB or HT autografts and, in addition, ACL revision surgery using re-harvested patellar tendon autografts. Clinical and standard radiographic assessments were made of both the primary ACL-reconstructed knees and the patients who underwent ACL revision surgery using re-harvested patellar tendon autografts. Abstract : Peri-implantitis is an increasing problem in implant dentistry. The current series of studies employed a translational approach with the aim to compare peri-implantitis and periodontitis lesions and evaluate the influence of implant surface characteristics and the adjunctive use of systemic antibiotics/local antiseptics on healing following surgical treatment of peri-implantitis. 5. 15. Functional characteristics of periodontitis and peri-implantitis lesions in humans

Author : Carlotta Dionigi; Göteborgs universitet; []

Abstract : In the current series of studies functional characteristics of periodontitis and peri-implantitis lesions in humans were investigated. Cell markers for antimicrobial activity were used to evaluate differences between periodontitis and peri-implantitis lesions (Study I), while epigenetic and oxidative stress markers were used to compare periodontitis lesions in smokers and non-smokers (Study II).
