6. Molecular Recognition Materials Synthesized Based on Small molecules, DNA, and Imprinted Polymers for Bioanalytical Applications
Abstract : The development of sensitive, convenient, and cost-effective methods for detecting disease biomarkers is very important for meeting the growing demand for early clinical diagnosis. Additionally, the detection of disease biomarkers at ultralow concentrations is very important for disease prevention and treatment and posttreatment rehabilitation. READ MORE

7. Palladium(II)-Catalyzed Oxidative Carbocyclization/Functionalization of Allenynes
Abstract : The selective formation of carbon-carbon bonds constitutes a key transformation in organic synthesis with useful applications in pharmaceutical or material industry. A particularly versatile tool for carbon-carbon as well as carbon-heteroatom bond formation is palladium catalysis, which allows for mild and selective routes even towards complex structures. 8. Synthesis of chiral allyl and propargyl boronates by organocatalytic carbene insertion to carbon-boron bonds
Abstract : This thesis describes the development of a novel organocatalytic method for the synthesis of chiral allyl- and propargyl- organoboron compounds with high enantioselectivity. These organoboron species are versatile building blocks in asymmetric synthesis. We have developed a new efficient homologation method of alkenyl boronic acids. READ MORE

9. Selective Sorbents - Silica-immobilized affinity ligands and molecularly imprinted polymers
Abstract : The development of selective sorbents for the separation of various molecules, preferentially biomolecules, is described in this work. Affinity ligands were immobilized on small silica particles and used in high-performance liquid affinity chromatography (HPLAC). READ MORE

10. Hydroarylation of Fullerene C60 Using Arylboronic Acids via Rhodium Catalysis : Improving the Outcomes and Simplifying the Conditions
Abstract : Hydroarylation with arylboronic acids is one of the functionalization methods for synthesis of modified fullerenes. In this work, we provide a fast and reproducible one-phase method for hydroarylation of fullerene using boronic acids and an analytical HPLC method that efficiently separates unreacted C60 and product from a hydroarylation reaction mixture as well as a fulleropyrrolidine reaction mixture.
