16. Moduli spaces of zero-dimensional geometric objects
Abstract : The topic of this thesis is the study of moduli spaces of zero-dimensional geometricobjects. The thesis consists of three articles each focusing on a particular moduli space. The first article concerns the Hilbert scheme Hilb(X). This moduli space parametrizesclosed subschemes of a fixed ambient scheme X. READ MORE

17. Computational fluid dynamics for dispersion calculation in urban surroundings
Abstract : Increased knowledge on dispersion processes in urban environment will enhance the ability in the society to handle events where releases of toxic substances can occur. Also, the ability to increase preparedness at locations where such events potentially can emerge. READ MORE

18. Simulation of deformable objects transported in fluid flow
Abstract : Deformable particles suspended in a viscous fluid can be found in many industrial and biological applications. In this thesis, two different numerical tools have been developed to simulate suspensions of capsules, thin membranes enclosing a second fluid and a rigid nucleus so to work as model for ”Eukaryotic” cells, and flexible slender bodies known as filaments/fibres. 19. Designing, Theorizing, and Reflecting on Information Systems Artifacts and Value Co-Creation in e-Government
Abstract : E-government services in the form of information systems (IS) artifacts create a new arena for co-creation that governments aim to leverage. Design of and knowledge about IS artifacts in value co-creation in e-government can thereby be considered valuable for the future development of e-government. READ MORE

20. Quadrature rules for boundary integral methods applied to Stokes flow
Abstract : Fluid phenomena dominated by viscous effects can, in many cases, be modeled by the Stokes equations. The boundary integral form of the Stokes equations reduces the number of degrees of freedom in a numerical discretization by reformulating the threedimensional problem to two-dimensional integral equations to be discretized over the boundaries of the domain.
