    Abstract : The purpose of this investigation was to determine the role of Fc receptors for IgG (FcγRI, FcγRIIB, FcγRIII and FcRn) in immunoregulation. IgG is known to enhance the response to soluble antigens such as bovine serum albumin whereas the response to particulate antigens is suppressed. READ MORE

  2. 2. Epidemiology and molecular tracing of bovine coronavirus and bovine respiratory syncytial virus infections in cattle herds

    University dissertation from ; Dept. of Clinical Sciences, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences

    Author : Mehdi Bidokhti; Sveriges lantbruksuniversitet.; [2013]
    Keywords : LANTBRUKSVETENSKAPER; AGRICULTURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : Bovine coronavirus (BCoV) and bovine respiratory syncytial virus (BRSV) are highly contagious pathogens that cause respiratory disease in cattle worldwide. BCoV is also associated with enteric disease in cattle of all ages. READ MORE

  3. 3. The Norovirus Puzzle Characterization of human and bovine norovirus susceptibility patterns

    University dissertation from Linköping : Linköping University Electronic Press

    Abstract : Winter vomiting disease is caused by norovirus (NoV) and affects millions of people every year resulting in 200.000 deaths among children in developing countries. It was observed early that not all individuals exposed to the norovirus became ill. The reason for this is now recognized to be dependent upon the secretor status of an individual. READ MORE
