1. Timing Diagnostics and Coherent Harmonics from a test-FEL
Abstract : The test free-electron laser (test-FEL) at MAX-lab in Lund demonstrated for the first time circularly polarized coherent femtosecond pulses at 66 nm wavelength. A 375 MeV electron bunch was seeded by a femtosecond laser at 263 nm and coherent harmonics were extracted in an APPLE-II type elliptical undulator. READ MORE

2. Electron beam sizes and lifetimes at MAX II and MAX III
Abstract : The MAX II and MAX III synchrotron light sources at MAX-lab provide synchrotron radiation for experiments in a wide variety of research fields. The synchrotron radiation is emitted by ultra-relativistic electrons circulating in electron storage rings. READ MORE

3. Studies on high brightness electron beams for short pulses and free electron laser
Abstract : Accelerator based lightsources are one of the most powerful tools today for producing high intensity radiation at very short wavelengths. While synchrotron storage rings provide a high average brilliance in a wide wavelength range, the next generation of lightsources aim towards producing ultra-short pulses in the X-ray regime. 4. Timing Modes for the MAX IV Storage Rings
Abstract : The MAX IV facility includes two storage rings, operated at 1.5 and 3 GeV energy, for the purpose of producing high-brilliance synchrotron radiation for users. The 1.5 GeV ring replaces the previous MAX II and MAX III storage rings as a source of UV and soft X-rays, whereas the 3 GeV ring is optimized for hard X-rays. READ MORE

5. Higher harmonic cavities at 3rd generation synchrotron light sources
Abstract : Synchrotron radiation is a tool widely used in science. It is produced by electron accelerators called storage rings. With the high performance of the 3rd generation synchrotron light sources, the scientific results are excellent. It is important to identify and overcome the limitations of a storage ring in order to enhance its performance. READ MORE
