People with dementia are commonly in need of some form of social care from the social services in order to manage their everyday situations. The overall aim of the thesis was to investigate and explore job satisfaction, strain and stress of conscience (SC) among nurse assistants (NAs) working in residential care for older people. Background: Palliative care in Sweden is not equal in terms of age, disease, and place of care. An essential value within palliative care is dignity, therefore healthcare emphasizing this value must be prioritized.
