1. Plasma Interactions with Icy Bodies in the Solar System
Abstract : Here I study the “plasma interactions with icy bodies in the solar system”, that is, my quest to understand the fundamental processes that govern such interactions. By using numerical modelling combined with in situ observations, one can infer the internal structure of icy bodies and their plasma environments. READ MORE

2. The Dynamical Spin Vector Evolution of the Asteroids
Abstract : The dynamical evolution of the spin axis direction due to gravitational and thermal factors is examined. It is found that the spin axis variations generally are regular and relatively small for the bodies in the asteroid main belt. There are also reasons to believe that this is the case for minor objects beyond the main belt. READ MORE

3. Fiber-Optic Interconnections in High-Performance Real-Time Computer Systems
Abstract : Future parallel computer systems for embedded real-time applications, where each node in itself can be a parallel computer, are predicted to havevery high bandwidth demands on the interconnection network. Otherimportant properties are time-deterministic latency and guarantees to meetdeadlines. READ MORE

4. High performance fiber-optic interconnection networks for real-time computing systems
Abstract : Parallel and distributed computing systems become more and more powerful and hence place increasingly higher demands on the networks that interconnect their processors or processing nodes. Many of the applications running on such systems, especially embedded systems applications, have real-time requirements and, with increasing application demands, high-performance networks are the hearts of these systems. 5. Architectures and Protocols for Performance Improvements of Real-Time Networks
Abstract : When designing architectures and protocols for data traffic requiring real-time services, one of the major design goals is to guarantee that traffic deadlines can be met. However, many real-time applications also have additional requirements such as high throughput, high reliability, or energy efficiency. READ MORE
