  1. 1. Studies of Charge Transport Processes in Dye-sensitized Solar Cells

    Author : Kristofer Fredin; Anders Hagfeldt; Mukundan Thelakkat; KTH; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; solar cell; mesoporous; dye-sensitized; model; simulation; electron transport; trap distribution; Physical chemistry; Fysikalisk kemi;

    Abstract : Dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) have attained considerable attention during the last decade because of the potential of becoming a low cost alternative to silicon based solar cells. Although efficiencies exceeding 10% in full sunlight have been presented, major improvements of the system are however limited. READ MORE

  2. 2. Interactions in Dye-sensitized Solar Cells

    Author : Helena Greijer Agrell; Anders Hagfeldt; Gerrit Boschloo; Laurence Peter; Uppsala universitet; []

    Abstract : Due to climate change and its effects, alternative renewable energy sources are needed in the future human society. In the work of this thesis, the Dye-sensitized Solar Cell (DSC) has been investigated and characterized. READ MORE

  5. 5. Organic Hole Transport Materials for Solid-State Dye-Sensitized and Perovskite Solar Cells

    Author : Jinbao Zhang; Erik Johansson; Gerrit Boschloo; Anders Hagfeldt; Nick Vlachopoulos; Ellen Moons; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; photoelectrochemical polymerization; PEDOT; dye; hole transport material; small molecule; perovskite solar cell;

    Abstract : Solid-state dye-sensitized solar cells (ssDSSCs) and recently developed perovskite solar cells (PSCs) have attracted a great attention in the scientific field of photovoltaics due to their low cost, absence of solvent, simple fabrication and promising power conversion efficiency (PCE). In these types of solar cell, the dye molecule or the perovskite can harvest the light on the basis of electron excitation. READ MORE
