1. Mutation and Diversity in Avian Sex Chromosomes
Abstract : Sex chromosomes are useful for the study of how factors such as mutation, selection, recombination and effective population size affect diversity and divergence.A comparison of gametologous introns in seven different bird species revealed a complete lack of diversity on the female-specific W chromosome. 2. Molecular architecture of meiotic chromosomes
Abstract : Faithful chromosome segregation at each cell division is essential as the formation of cells with an abnormal number of chromosomes (aneuploid cells) can result in infertility, developmental defects or cancer. Aneuploidy occurs in approximately 20% of all conceptions, causing infertility and embryo death. READ MORE

4. Cytogenetic abnormalities in Acute Myeloid Leukemia in Sweden. A population based study
Abstract : The impact of cytogenetic findings in AML was analyzed in the large population-based Swedish AML registry. Karyotypic patterns differed by age: t(8;21), inv(16) and t(11q23) were more common in younger patients, whereas loss of 5q, 7q and 17p, monosomal karyotype (MK) and complex karyotype (CK) were more common in older patients.
