1. Green liquor dregs-amended till to cover sulfidic mine waste
Abstract : The mining industry produces massive amounts of waste that without treatment and in contact with oxygen can result in acid rock drainage (ARD) and increased leaching of metals. In Sweden, the common way to manage the mine waste after closure is to apply a dry coverage on top of the waste deposition. READ MORE

2. Tillage practices and their impact on soil organic carbon and the microbial community
Abstract : Soil microorganisms are important for climate regulation as well as for plant nutrition. In agricultural soils the microorganisms are affected by management choices, like which type of tillage that is used. READ MORE

3. Evolution of the groundwater geochemistry in sulphide bearing tailings remediated by applying till cover, Kristineberg, Northern Sweden
Abstract : At the Kristineberg mine in northern Sweden, sulphide-rich tailings were remediated in 1996 by applying till covers. The sulphides were isolated from the atmosphere to prevent oxidation. READ MORE

4. Sulphide-rich tailings remediated by soil cover : evaluation of cover efficiency and tailings geochemistry, Kristineberg, northern Sweden
Abstract : The efficiency of soil cover as a method of remediation of sulphide-rich tailings has been studied at an impoundment at the Kristineberg mine, Northern Sweden. Two variations of soil cover were used in the remediation. The major part of the impoundment was covered with a 1.0 m layer of till where the groundwater table was shallow. READ MORE

5. Compaction- and strength properties of stabilised and unstabilised fine-grained tills
Abstract : Fine-grained soils are often regarded as problematic soils in earthworks because of their water- and frost sensitivity. Only limited amounts of fine-grained tills are used as earthwork material today. READ MORE
