1. Orthopaedic measurements with computed radiography. Methodological development, accuracy, and radiation dose with special reference to the weight-bearing lower extremity and the dislocating patella
Abstract : The overall aim of this study was to develop and evaluate a measurement system for computed radiography (CR) and Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), permitting measurements of long distances and angles in and between related images. The developed measurement system, which was based on the QUESTOR Precision Radiography (QPR) system, was applied to the weight-bearing knee with special reference to the dislocating patella. 2. Radiological methods in rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis
Abstract : The dissertation's theme is the critical role of radiology when evaluating two different groups of patients. Firstly, patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) of the cervical spine were studied to evaluate upper spine instability with dynamic computed tomography (CT). READ MORE

3. Chest Tomosynthesis for Detection and Surveillance of Pulmonary Pathology. Studies on Cystic Fibrosis and Solid Pulmonary Nodules
Abstract : Introduction: Digital tomosynthesis (DTS) is a relatively new imaging modality in thoracic imaging. The technique is based on the equipment of conventional radiography, upgraded with a moving tube that enables separation of structures that are superimposed on chest x-ray (CXR). READ MORE

4. Scaphoid fractures : Studies on diagnosis and treatment
Abstract : Scaphoid fracture is most common in young individuals of working age. Without adequate diagnosis and treatment, long-term results are poor. Operative treatment is being recommended increasingly often instead of a long time in cast, although there is no evidence-based support for its superiority. READ MORE

5. Maxillofacial cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) : aspetcs on optimisation
READ MORE
