1. Characterisations of function spaces on fractals
Abstract : This thesis consists of three papers, all of them on the topic of function spaces on fractals. The papers summarised in this thesis are:Paper I Mats Bodin, Wavelets and function spaces on Mauldin-Williams fractals, Research Report in Mathematics No. 7, Umeå University, 2005. READ MORE

2. Continuous-time System Identification : Refined Instrumental Variables and Sampling Assumptions
Abstract : Continuous-time system identification deals with the problem of building continuous-time models of dynamical systems from sampled input and output data. There are two main approaches in this field: indirect and direct. In the indirect approach, a suitable discrete-time model is first determined, and then it is transformed into continuous-time. 3. Paul’s Interlocutor in Romans 2 : Function and Identity in the Context of Ancient Epistolography
Abstract : Romans 2 has long been a crux interpretum. Among matters of dispute is the function and identity of Paul’s interlocutor(s) in the chapter. While scholars agree that the individual addressed in 2:17–29 is a Jew, there is no such consensus with respect to the identity of the person addressed in 2:1–5. READ MORE

4. Sleep disordered breathing and hemodynamic function
Abstract : This thesis addresses the association between sleep disordered breathing (SDB) and hemodynamic function. A cross sectional study in a sleep laboratory cohort (n=1190) demonstrated a dose-response relationship between the severity of SDB, expressed as respiratory disturbance index (RDI), and office blood pressure, heart rate, and the risk of hypertension. 5. Algebras of bounded holomorphic functions
Abstract : Some problems concerning the algebra of bounded holomorphic functions from bounded domains in Cn are solved. A bounded domain of holomorphy Q in C2 with nonschlicht i7°°- envelope of holomorphy is constructed and it is shown that there is a point in Q for which Gleason’s Problem for H°°(Q) cannot be solved.
