1. Bio-inspired crossover and a model of neuronal reprogramming
Abstract : Bio-inspired crossover:Natural genomes are affected by various kinds of mutations, manifesting as variations in the genome. This includes modifications to individual base pairs (single nucleotide polymorphism, SNP), but also short insertions and deletions (indels), and variations in the position (translocations) or multiplicity (copy number variations) of genetic sequences. 2. Generating GABAergic interneurons through reprogramming and differentiation strategies : English
Abstract : In recent years reprogramming techniques, differentiation protocols, and sequencing analysis have opened a field for generating and studying human-derived neurons with greater potential than ever before. This has generated a large number of studies with the goal of deriving bona fide neurons. READ MORE

3. Direct Conversion of Human Fibroblasts to Induced Neurons
Abstract : During direct cellular reprogramming, forced expression of key transcription factors (TFs) directly converts one terminally differentiated cell type into that of another fate, exemplified in this theses by the conversion of fibroblasts into functional induced neurons (iNs). Direct conversion of mouse fibroblasts to functional neurons was established in 2010, and the starting point of my doctoral thesis was the aim to transfer iN-technology to human cells and to explore the potential of this technique in regards to generate subtype-specific neurons as well as to use these cells for transplantation studies. 4. Exploring Direct Conversion of Human Glia into Therapeutic Neurons
Abstract : Direct neuronal reprogramming of a somatic cell into therapeutic neurons, without a transient pluripotent state, provides new promise for the large number of individuals afflicted by neurodegenerative diseases or brain injury. This approach could be potentially applied directly in the brain by targeting resident cells as a source of new neurons. READ MORE

5. Generation of induced neurons via direct conversion in vivo and in vitro
Abstract : Cellular reprogramming is when one cell is changed into another. This involves structural modifications on the DNA of a cell resulting in a transcriptional change. This occurs naturally during development when early pluripotent cells gradually differentiate into more specialized cells that finally result in a complete organism. READ MORE
