  1. 1. Implementation Methodology in Action : A Study of an Enterprise Systems Implementation Methodology

    Author : Daniela Mihailescu; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Enterprise Systems; implementation methodology; AcceleratedSAP; Implementation methodology; Action framework; Software engineering; Programvaruteknik; Economic Information Systems; Ekonomiska informationssystem; Informatics;

    Abstract : Enterprise Systems create new opportunities but also new challenges and difficulties for implementers and users. The clear distinction between the development and the implementation of Enterprise Systems Software seems to influence not only the characteristics of methodologies but also how implementers use the Enterprise Systems implementation methodologies. 2. 2. Gas Sensing Based on Ellipsometric Readout : Methodology and Development

    Author : Guoliang Wang; Herbert Wonneester; Linköpings universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : The concept of an ellipsometric sensor array system - "an optical nose" - is presented. The system is used to monitor and discriminate gases. The optical readout is based on polarizer-compensator-sample-analyzer (PCSA) off-null ellipsometry. READ MORE

  3. 3. Re-evaluation of methods to identify individuals with increased risk of caries

    Author : Anna Senneby; Malmö högskola; []
    Keywords : MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; caries; risk assessment; diagnostic accuracy; methodology; acid tolerance; reliability; agreement;

    Abstract : The overall aim of this thesis was to evaluate methods used to identify individuals with increased risk of coronal caries lesion development. The specific aims were to:•evaluate the accuracy of different methods used to identify individuals with increased risk of developing dental coronal caries lesions (study I)•design and pilot a novel classification system for the assessment of caries lesion progression in bitewing radiography and to report rater agreement of the system (study II)•assess intra-individual differences in biofilm acid-tolerance between different tooth surfaces and inter-individual variation as well as stability of acid tolerance over time (study III)•assess diagnostic accuracy of two established methods and a candidate method to identify adolescents with increased risk of dental coronal caries lesion development (study IV). 4. 4. Facility layout design with simulation-based optimization : A holistic methodology including process, flow, and logistics requirements in manufacturing

    Author : Enrique Ruiz Zúñiga; Anna Syberfeldt; Matías Urenda Moris; Masood Fathi; Jesús Muñuzuri; Högskolan i Skövde; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Production and Automation Engineering; Produktion och automatiseringsteknik;

    Abstract : Adaptability and flexibility are becoming key concepts in manufacturing. Today manufacturing companies often have to deal with random disruptive events, which necessitates significantly more complex manufacturing systems. READ MORE

  5. 5. Managing the flows? Furthering a socio-material flow methodology for industrial ecology

    Author : Mathias Lindkvist; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; industrial ecology; actor-network-theory ANT ; methodology; action nets; socio-material; field studies; conceptualisation; material flow; review; life cycle assessment LCA ;

    Abstract : This dissertation defends the thesis that application of the socio-material methodology that I present can assist environmentally more effective decision-making. The methodology provides a recipe for a systematic and accurate understanding of how human actions determine environmental impacts via material (tangible) flows. READ MORE
