1. Moisture-induced stress and distortion of wood : A numerical and experimental study of wood's drying and long-term behaviour
Abstract : With the current advances made in three-dimensional modelling of wood, it is possible to provide an overall picture of moisture flow, and moisture-induced stress and deformations, whereas previously, experiments only provided local measurements. The main aim of the doctoral thesis is to investigate the possibilities of the developed three-dimensional numerical model to predict the behaviour of wood when simultaneously exposed to a mechanical load and a particular climate. 2. Design and Analysis of Highly Linear Integrated Wideband Amplifiers
Abstract : This dissertation deals with techniques for designing integrated amplifiers with high linearity. Amplifiers with operating frequencies from Audio to RF have been built. An enhanced feedback configuration, capable of very low distortion, is presented. READ MORE

4. Intermodulation Distortion in Active and Passive Components
Abstract : Wireless communication is growing rapidly, and the demand for higher data rate, low latency, and availability leads to a more complex infrastructure with new challenges. Multiple communication systems have to co-exist in a densely populated frequency-spectrum, where higher power levels and more sensitive receivers are required. READ MORE

5. High-End Performance with Low-End Hardware : Analysis of Massive MIMO Base Station Transceivers
Abstract : Massive MIMO (multiple-input–multiple-output) is a multi-antenna technology for cellular wireless communication, where the base station uses a large number of individually controllable antennas to multiplex users spatially. This technology can provide a high spectral efficiency. READ MORE
