1. Groundwater Vulnerability Assessment to pollution in Different Soil and Rock Materials
Abstract : The augmentation of human population regularly corresponds with change in the land cover, including expansion of urban areas, which imposes increasing the available amount of domestic and drinking water. The study area, Halabja-Saidsadiq Basin, is situated in the Northeast of Iraq and is one of the major groundwater sources of the region. READ MORE

2. Potential Use of Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage System in Arid Regions
Abstract : After the Oil Crises in 1973, which meant higher energy costs, the world started to look for other sources of energy. This led to the development of renewable energy techniques. Because of the intermittent nature of renewable energy, storage systems were also developed. READ MORE

4. Morphology studies of thin films of polyfluorene: fullerene blends
Abstract : The formation of thin films of polymer blends by spin-coating from solution is characterised by rapid solvent quenching, a process that results in non-equilibrium morphologies. Thin films of conjugated polymer blends are used as the active material in polymer solar cells, in which the morphology may have drastic effects on device performance. READ MORE

5. Studies of structural transitions in trimetal pentoxides of titanium and vanadium : from the growth of pure single-crystals to critical phenomena at the transition points
Abstract : The growth of highly pure single crystals of titanium (Ti2O3-TiO2) and vanadium (V203-V205) oxides by chemical transport reactions with TeCl4 as a transport medium is discussed. The chemical transport mechanisms, transport rates and oxidation states of the transported crystals in the titanium and vanadium oxide systems are compared. READ MORE
