    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; perpendicular magnetic anisotropy; tilted-polarizer; spintronics; STT; MTJ; pseudospin-valve; STO; ST-FMR; magnonics; magnetic droplet; droplet nucleation; droplet annihilation; vinkelrät magnetisk anisotropi; lutande polarisator; spinntronik; STT; MTJ; pseudospinnventil; STO; ST-FMR; magnonics; magnetisk droppe; nukleering av droppe; anihilering av droppe.; Physics; Fysik;

    Abstract : Spin-torque transfer (STT) effects have brought spintronics ever closer to practical electronic applications, such as MRAM and active broadband microwave spin-torque oscillator (STO), and have emerged as an increasingly attractive field of research in spin dynamics. Utilizing materials with perpendicular magnetic anisotropy (PMA) in such applications offers several great advantages such as low-current, low-field operation combined with high thermal stability. 2. 2. Detailed simulations of droplet evaporation

    University dissertation from KTH Royal Institute of Technology

    Author : Giandomenico Lupo; Christophe Duwig; [2017]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; droplet; evaporation; phase change; multicomponent; immersed boundary; droppe; förångning; fasövergång; multikomponent; nedsånkt rand;

    Abstract : Droplet evaporation (and condensation) is one of the most common instancesof multiphase flow with phase change, encountered in nature as well as intechnical and industrial applications. Examples include falling rain drops, fogsand mists, aerosol applications like electronic cigarettes and inhalation drugdelivery, engineering applications like spray combustion, spray wet scrubbing orgas absorption, spray drying, flame spray pyrolysis. 5. 5. On Fuel Coolant Interactions and Debris Coolability in Light Water Reactors

    University dissertation from Stockholm : KTH Royal Institute of Technology

    Author : Sachin Thakre; Weimin Ma; Florian Fichot; [2015]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; severe accident; fuel-coolant interactions; melt jet fragmentation; steam explosion; debris bed coolability; uncertainty analysis; Energiteknik; Energy Technology;

    Abstract : During the case of a hypothetical severe accident in a light water reactor, core damage may occur and molten fuel may interact with water resulting in explosive interactions. A Fuel-Coolant Interactions (FCI) consists of many complex phenomena whose characteristics determine the energetics of the interactions. READ MORE
