11. Polymer-Based Micromachining for Scalable and Cost-Effective Fabrication of Gap Waveguide Devices Beyond 100 GHz
Abstract : The terahertz (THz) frequency bands have gained attention over the past few years due to the growing number of applications in fields like communication, healthcare, imaging, and spectroscopy. Above 100 GHz transmission line losses become dominating, and waveguides are typically used for transmission. READ MORE

12. Polymer-Based Low-Cost Micromachining of Gap Waveguide Components
Abstract : The millimeter-wave (mmWave) and sub-millimeter-wave (sub-mmWave) frequency bands have gained significant attention over the past few years due to the growth of commercial wireless applications. As the operating frequency approaches these higher frequencies, the dimensions of the waveguide-based components continue to decrease. READ MORE

13. Simulated and observed change of precipitation and temperature in Europe with focus on the Greater Baltic Area
Abstract : The regional climate of the Greater Baltic Area is complex and varies at a multitude of scales in space and time. This thesis contributes to increased understanding of climate change and climate variability in this area focusing on four significant research topics. Droughts have a considerable ecological and socio-economic impact. READ MORE

14. DissolvIt : development and validation of a new in vitro dissolution apparatus for dry powder aerosols
Abstract : Today there are no recommended dissolution methods for use in the development of new inhalable drugs. In the absence of such tailored methods, standard dissolution test methods from oral- or skin administration routes are used instead. Such methods are obviously not designed to resemble the lung environment. READ MORE

15. Nutrient utilisation in growing Cambodian cattle : effect of different feed sources and feed conservation techniques
Abstract : Natural forages are an important part of the diet of cattle in Cambodia, but their nutrient value, particularly in terms of macro-minerals, may be inadequate, leading to potential mineral deficiencies in grazing cattle. This thesis compared the nutrient composition of six forage types (rice bran, rice straw, para grass, cassava foliage, leucaena leaves, water hyacinth leaves) from two regions in Cambodia against faecal and urinary excretion of macro minerals by cattle.
