1. Analysis of Dynamic Flight Loads
Abstract : This thesis deals with the determination of loads on an aircraft struc- ture during flight. The focus is on flight conditions where the loads are significantly time-dependent. Analysis of flight loads is primarily motivated to ensure that structural failure is avoided. READ MORE

2. Dynamic Characteristics of Floating Breakwaters
Abstract : The dynamic behaviour of interconnected floating breakwaters has been studied theoretically and experimentally. For this type of shore-protection system, problems that must be dealt with include wave loads on the breakwaters caused by the interaction between the bodies and the waves, motions of the moored breakwaters caused by the waves, changed wave fields in front of and behind the breakwaters, and forces on the mooring cables and in interconnections between breakwater units. 3. Recovery from Acidification - Policy Oriented Dynamic Modeling
Abstract : Dynamic biogeochemistry models are important tools for determining the time-scales of recovery from acidification. In the review process of the 1999 UNECE LRTAP Gothenburg protocol, results from dynamic models will probably be included when determining further reductions of acidifying emissions. READ MORE

4. Shear in Concrete Structural Elements Subjected to Dynamic Loads
Abstract : Concrete structural elements subjected to severe dynamic loads such as explosions at close range may cause shear failures. In the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995 two concrete columns on the ground level were reported to have failed in shear. READ MORE

5. Simplified dynamic analysis of railway bridges under high-speed trains
Abstract : The world-wide development of new high-speed rail lines has led to more stringent design requirements for railway bridges. This is mainly due to the fact that a train at high speeds can cause resonance in the bridge superstructure. READ MORE
