  1. 1. Place-of-Origin Effects on Brand Equity : Explicating the evaluative pertinence of product categories and association strength

    Author : Mikael Andéhn; Fredrik Nordin; Per-Olof Berg; Mats E. Nilsson; Leif E. Hem; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Country-of-origin; Association Strength; Product Category; Brand Equity; Place; Business Administration; företagsekonomi;

    Abstract : The country-of-origin effect - the alteration of judgment derived from an association to a place, is a much studied phenomenon with great potential implications for brand management and international marketing. However, in light of criticism towards the lack of conceptual development the extant literature, the relevance of the effect has been brought into question. READ MORE

  2. 2. Developmental exposure to mixtures of persistent environmental pllutants with focus on bone and retinoid system modulations

    Author : Lubna E Elabbas; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Keywords : ;

    Abstract : Environmental pollution of Arctic regions has evoked a scientific as well as public concern. Arctic Inuit inhabitants consume large amounts of fatty fish and marine mammals and are therefore exposed to levels of environmental toxicants that are suspected to cause adverse health effects. 5. 5. Capillary electrophoresis mass spectrometry applied to structural proteomics and small molecule analysis

    Author : Jordan Aerts; Erik T. Jansson; Per E. Andrén; Petr Man; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Capillary Electrophoresis Mass Spectrometry; Hydrogen Deuterium Exchange Mass Spectrometry; Enantioselective Separations; Drugs of Abuse; Analytical Chemistry; Analytisk kemi; Analytisk farmaceutisk kemi; Analytical Pharmaceutical Chemistry; Kemi med inriktning mot analytisk kemi; Chemistry with specialization in Analytical Chemistry; Biology with specialization in Structural Biology; Biologi med inriktning mot strukturbiologi;

    Abstract : Capillary electrophoresis with mass spectrometric (CE–MS) detection offers a separation method without equal in terms of flexibility, utility, and cost efficiency. Here we demonstrate precisely this through the application of several laboratory-built CE–MS instruments for the separation of brain metabolites in non-primates, enantioselective separations of synthetic anesthetic metabolites in fractionated pony urine, application in structural proteomics workflows, and identification of exogenous alkaloid biotransformationproducts in human cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).
