1. New opportunities provided by the Swedish electricity meter reform
Abstract : The reduction of the impact of energy consumption is a priority issue and a major challenge that concerns every country in the world. This is a complex task that needs to be tackled from several angles in the search for areas where optimizations and savings can be made. READ MORE

2. Efficient Integration of Distributed Generation in Electricity Distribution Networks - Voltage Control and Network Design
Abstract : Distributed generation (DG), i.e. generation connected to the low and medium voltage distribution network (DN), has been increasing a lot during recent years. Thus the traditional assumption of a unidirectional power flow and a voltage decrease along the distribution feeders is no longer valid in all operation conditions. READ MORE

3. Towards sustainable energy consumption : Electricity demand flexibility and household fuel choice
Abstract : Paper [I] investigates household heterogeneity in valuing electricity contract attributes that include various load controls and information sharing to induce demand flexibility. Using a stated preference choice experiment conducted with Swedish households, this paper shows that, although a large proportion of households ask for substantial compensation, some households are willing to share their electricity consumption information and require relatively lower compensation to allow load controls. 4. Energy Services in Sweden - Customer Relations towards Increased Sustainability
Abstract : Energy use and supply are evident issues to consider for a sustainable development, where the economic, social and environmental aspects are all important. In large grid-bound systems, the supply of energy is usually a rather invisible activity and the contacts between household custo-mers and utilities are sometimes only repre-sented through the energy bill. 5. Distributed Resources in a Re-Regulated Market Environment
Abstract : This thesis analyses the value that distributed resources(DR) can contribute to an economically effcient operation of are-regulated electricity market and discusses the relevantchanges in the regulatory framework to allow the appropriatedevelopment of DR whenever DR may increase the economiceffciency of the electricity market. Distributed resources thereby combine two aspects:Distributed generation and demand-side resources. READ MORE
