1. ON THE COUPLING OF THE LOCALIZED PLASMON AND INTERBAND TRANSITIONS IN NICKEL NANOANTENNAS
Abstract : Interaction of light with metallic nanostructures smaller than the wavelength leads to excitation of collective oscillations of “free” conduction electrons. This effect leads to locally enhanced electric fields inside and outside the nanoparticle and is called localized surface plasmon resonance (LSPR). READ MORE

2. Computational Investigation of Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells
Abstract : Interfaces between semiconductors and adsorbed molecules form a central area of research in surface science, occurring in many different contexts. One such application is the so-called Dye-Sensitized Solar Cell (DSSC) where the nanostructured dye-semiconductor interface is of special interest, as this is where the most important ultrafast electron transfer process takes place. 3. Quantum Chemical Modeling of Dye-Sensitized Titanium Dioxide : Ruthenium Polypyridyl and Perylene Dyes, TiO2 Nanoparticles, and Their Interfaces
Abstract : Quantum chemical calculations have been used to model dye-sensitized nanostructured titanium dioxide systems that can be used in solar cells for solar energy to electricity conversion. Structural, electronic and spectral properties of isolated dyes and both bare and dye-sensitized TiO2 have been calculated with density functional theory, providing detailed information about both the separate parts and the dye-TiO2 interface. 4. Electrical Characterisations of Bearings
Abstract : Mechanical bearings are an integral part of industry, and are used in various places in order to reduce friction between two interacting surfaces and are used to transmit power and loads. Mechanical bearings are one of the most extensively used components within the wind industry, but on the other hand they are also one of the most dominantly failing failed components. READ MORE

5. Design Aspects of Inductive Power Transfer Systems for Electric Vehicle Charging
Abstract : During the last decade the transition towards electric propelled vehicles has had an upswing and electric vehicle (EV) sales has increased steadily. This is much due to legislations on lowering emissions but also due to lower total cost of ownership. READ MORE
