  1. 1. Thermal Radiation from Co-evaporated Cu(In,Ga)Se2 : End point detection and process control

    Author : Jens Schöldström; Marika Edoff; Nicolas Barreau; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; CIGS; Cu InGa Se2; thin film; solar cells; end point detection; process control; optical constants; CuxSe; Teknisk fysik med inriktning mot elektronik; Engineering Science with specialization in Electronics;

    Abstract : The use of solar cells for energy production has indeed a bright future. Reduction of cost for fabrication along with increased efficiency are key features for a market boom, both achieved as a result of increased knowledge of the technology. READ MORE

  2. 2. Applications in Monocular Computer Vision using Geometry and Learning : Map Merging, 3D Reconstruction and Detection of Geometric Primitives

    Author : David Gillsjö; Matematik LTH; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Scene Completion; Deep Learning; Bayesian Neural Network; Room Layout Estimation; Line Segment Detection; Polygon Detection; Graph Neural Network; Map Merging; Structure from Motion; Minimal Solvers; Wireframe Estimation;

    Abstract : As the dream of autonomous vehicles moving around in our world comes closer, the problem of robust localization and mapping is essential to solve. In this inherently structured and geometric problem we also want the agents to learn from experience in a data driven fashion. READ MORE

  3. 3. Sensitivity, Noise and Detection of Enzyme Inhibition in Progress Curves

    Author : Omar Gutierrez Arenas; Helena Danielson; Athel Cornish-Bowden; Uppsala universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Biochemistry; Progress curves; limit of detection; Z -factor; primary screening; enzyme inhibition; error structure; sensitivity analysis; High-throughput screning; Biokemi;

    Abstract : Starting with the development of an enzymatic assay, where an enzyme in solution hydrolysed a solid-phase bound peptide, a model for the kinetics of enzyme action was introduced. This model allowed the estimation of kinetic parameters and enzyme activity for a system that has the peculiarity of not being saturable with the substrate, but with the enzyme. READ MORE

  4. 4. Spatial analysis and modeling of nerve fiber patterns

    Author : Claes Andersson; Göteborgs universitet; []

Tillämpad matematik och statistik.; CTH;

    Abstract : Diabetic neuropathy is a condition associated with diabetes affecting the epidermal nerve fibers (ENFs). This thesis presents analysis methods and models for ENF data, with two main puroposes: to find early signs of diabetic neuropathy and to characterize how this condition changes the nerve fiber structure.
