Abstract : Working conditions are increasingly unpredictable, complex, and ungovernable creating severe health risks for employees and potential negative economic consequences for both corporations and society. Considering the growth in understanding human psychology and sociology, and the progression in measuring working conditions and health, this phenomenon is most perplexing. READ MORE

Abstract : Knowledge of dynamics in protein is very important in the description of protein function and molecular recognition. The thesis investigates protein dynamics on time-scales from milli- to sub-nanosecond, with focus on the latter, using NMR spin relaxation experiments on two proteins, the 138-residue carbohydrate recognition domain of galectin-3 (Gal3C) and the 56-residue B1 domain of bacterial protein G (PGB1). Abstract : Interactions are what gives us the knowledge of the world around us. Interactions on all levels may fundamentally be seen as an exchange of information and a possible response of the same. Whether it is an electron in an electrical field or a handsome dude in a bar responding to a flirtation---interactions make things happen. READ MORE
