1. Filtration System For On-Site Wastewater Treatment : Experiences From Modelling and Experimental Investigations
Abstract : Many on-site wastewater treatment systems in Sweden are not sustainable in terms of treatment efficiency, nutrient recycling and economics. Achieving reliable and sustainable systems to meet on-site wastewater treatment demands requires comprehensive field investigations of the performance of novel technologies. READ MORE

2. Effects of Safety Measures for Pedestrians and Cyclists at Crossing Facilities on Arterial Roads
Abstract : The principal aims of this thesis are to define suitable measures for safer pedestrian and cycle crossings on arterial roads, to implement these measures on a large scale and to acquire an insight into their effects on road users' safety, experiences, mobility and the environment, by creating a 30 km/h milieu at the above crossings. Two characteristically different types of measures, physical measures and variable message signs, based on three principles, lower speed, no priority and improved and relevant information, are tested within the framework of this project. 3. Regeneration measures in time and space : Site preparation, planting and digital tools
Abstract : Regeneration success depends on decisions made based on factors on aregional, site, and microenvironmental level. Therefore, understanding andmapping of such factors between and within sites can guide decisions forbetter seedling establishment. READ MORE

5. Studies on experimental anaerobic infections of the middle ear and on the polymorphonuclear leukocyte function under anaerobic conditions
Abstract : Despite the clinical importance of anaerobic bacteria in otitis media and the uncertainty regarding the proper treatment of the anaerobic focal infection, few experimental studies focused upon the role of these microorganisms in otitis media have been published. In the present investigation a guinea-pig model for the induction of anaerobic monoinfections in the middle ear was described. READ MORE
