1. Silurian Carbonate Platforms of Gotland, Sweden - Archives of Local, Regional and Global Environmental Changes
Abstract : This thesis treats the Silurian carbonate platforms of Gotland, Sweden, which formed close to the equator within the East Baltic Basin. Three different time intervals, all involving changes in facies composition and structure of the platforms, have been studied; Late Homerian, latest Homerian ? earliest Gorstian, and late Ludfordian, respectively. 2. The genetic relationship between rhyolitic volcanism and Zn-Cu-Au deposits in the Maurliden volcanic centre, Skellefte district, Sweden : volcanic facies, lithogeochemistry and geochronology
Abstract : The Skellefte district is one of three major ore provinces in Sweden and contains more than 80 Zn-Cu-Au-Ag massive sulphide deposits. The Maurliden area in the central part of the district represents a subaqueous, constructional and relatively topographic high silicic volcanic centre. READ MORE

3. Reef biostromes and related facies from the Middle Silurian of Gotland, Sweden
Abstract : Reef biostromes and related facies from the upper part of Wenlock and from Ludlow were investigated in order to account for their formation, their palaeoecology and biology. In the Hemse Group of Ludlow age, all studied biostromes comprise a low diversity fauna where one or few species dominates. READ MORE

5. Diagenesis and Reservoir-Quality Evolution of Deep-Water Turbidites: Links to Basin Setting, Depositional Facies, and Sequence Stratigraphy
Abstract : A study of the distribution of diagenetic alterations and their impact on reservoir-quality evolution in four deep-water turbidite successions (Cretaceous to Eocene) from basins in active (foreland) and passive margins revealed the impact of tectonic setting, depositional facies, and changes in the relative sea level. Diagenetic modifications encountered in the turbiditic sandstones from the passive margin basins include dissolution and kaolinitization (kaolin has δ18OV-SMOW = +13. READ MORE
