  2. 2. Influences of alumina on fayalite-type slags properties an experimental study on leaching and melting behaviours

    University dissertation from Luleå : Luleå tekniska universitet

    Author : Sina Mostaghel; [2010]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Process Metallurgy; Processmetallurgi;

    Abstract : Recycling of secondary raw materials by non-ferrous metal producers is steadily increasing. These materials inevitably introduce various impurities to the production furnaces, which can change the chemical composition, and thereafter, the physical and chemical properties of the products and by-products. 3. 3. Influence of alumina on the zinc slag fuming processes an experimental study on physical properties and leaching behaviour of the generated fayalite-type slag

    University dissertation from Luleå : Luleå tekniska universitet

    Author : Sina Mostaghel; [2012]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Physical properties; Thermodynamic calculations; environmental properties; Sustainable extraction; Zinc fuming; Copper; Chemical engineering - Metallurgical process and manufacturing engineering; Kemiteknik - Metallurgisk process- och produktionsteknik; Process Metallurgy; Processmetallurgi;

    Abstract : Recycling of secondary raw materials by non-ferrous metal producers is steadily increasing. These materials inevitably introduce various impurities to the production furnaces, which can change the chemical composition, and thereafter, the physical and chemical properties of the products and by-products of the operation. 4. 4. Interactions between iron oxides and the additives olivine, quartzite and calcite in magnetite pellets

    University dissertation from Luleå : Luleå tekniska universitet

    Author : Pär Semberg; [2013]
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Process Metallurgy; Processmetallurgi;

    Abstract : In the present study, magnetite pellets with the additives olivine, calcite and quartzite were isothermally reduced in a tubular furnace to study the interaction between iron oxides and the additives. Exaggerated amounts of additives were used in order to enable analyses of phases that do not otherwise occur in sufficient amounts for X-ray diffraction and EDS-analyses. READ MORE

  5. 5. Mössbauer spectroscopy under high pressures and temperatures

    University dissertation from Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Author : Elke Hålenius; [1999]
