2. The marketing-entrepreneurship interface : an evaluation of hybrid entrepreneurs
Abstract : Marketing and entrepreneurship may often be treated as distinct streams of academic research, however their complementary nature in practice highlights a number of areas of overlap between the two disciplines. The emergence and subsequent growth of entrepreneurial marketing has highlighted the intersection between marketing and entrepreneurship, with scholars expanding the context within which entrepreneurial marketing is examined. 3. Integration of filamentous fungi in ethanol dry-mill biorefinery
Abstract : The industrial production of bioethanol as a replacement to gasoline is well-established worldwide, using starch- or sugar-rich substrates. Additionally, the bioethanol plants produce animal feeds derived from fermentation leftovers. The biorefinery character of bioethanol plants can be enhanced via process diversification. READ MORE

4. Molecular basis for the mechanism of action and resistance to artemisinin combination therapy in Plasmodium falciparum
Abstract : Malaria, caused by the Plasmodium falciparum parasite, remains a leading cause of death among children in Africa. To improve treatment efficacy and delay development and spread of antimalarial drug resistance artemisinin artemisinin-based combination therapy (ACT) is now globally recommended as first-line treatment of uncomplicated P. 5. Structure and Dynamics in Amphiphilic Bilayers: NMR and MD simulation Studies
Abstract : Solid-state nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy and molecular dynamics (MD) simulations were employed to study molecular structure and dynamics in amphiphilic bilayers. This thesis reports on method development and practical applications to two types of bilayer systems: simple cell membrane models composed of phosphatidylcholine lipids and cholesterol; and liquid crystals composed of ethyleneoxide-based surfactants often used in technological applications and in fundamental studies of amphiphile self-assembly.
