1. Determination of the thermal conductivity of the insulation in district heating mains : Field measurements
Abstract : This thesis concerns the development of a measurement method for determination in the field of the thermal conductivity of the insulation in buried district heating mains. The thermal conductivity of the insulation is calculated from the measured value of the radial heat flow through the heating main, the measured temperature difference across the insulation, and the dimensions of the heating main. 2. Accounting in the field of governance
Abstract : Corporate governance phenomena have traditionally been, and are still, studied foremost as relationships between principals and agents. Studies of how accounting plays out in corporate governance settings rather share the interest in hierarchical influence than challenge it. READ MORE

3. Profession on the move : Changing conditions and gendered development in physiotherapy
Abstract : Physiotherapy in Sweden has developed from a practical, hands-on, assistant job predominantly taught at college level to a university-based academic discipline emphasising evidence-based practice and research. Women are in majority although an increasing number of men have entered the profession. READ MORE

4. A classifying algebra for CFT boundary conditions
Abstract : Conformal field theories (CFT) constitute an interesting class of twodimensionalquantum field theories, with applications in string theoryas well as condensed matter physics. The symmetries of a CFT can beencoded in the mathematical structure of a conformal vertex algebra. READ MORE

5. Environmental actions on concrete exposed in marine and road environments and its response - Consequences for the initiation of chloride induced reinforcement corrosion
Abstract : The object of the study presented here has been to describe, further explain and model the influence of the exposure conditions on reinforced concrete structures and the consequences on their expected service life. The focus has been on investigating and quantifying the exposure conditions for structures in marine and road conditions exposed to chloride ions. READ MORE
