  1. 1. On the existence of complex-valued harmonic morphisms

    Author : Jonas Nordström; Matematik (naturvetenskapliga fakulteten); []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Harmonic morphisms; foliations; minimal submanifolds; Lie groups;

    Abstract : This thesis consists of 4 papers, their content is described below: Paper I. We present a new method for manufacturing complex-valued harmonic morphisms from a wide class of Riemannian Lie groups. This yields new solutions from an important family of homogeneous Hadamard manifolds. READ MORE

    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Abstract : Harmonic morphisms and Hermitian structures.... READ MORE

  3. 3. Harmonic morphisms, Hermitian structures and symmetric spaces

    Author : Martin Svensson; Matematik (naturvetenskapliga fakulteten); []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; isotropic subbundles; conformal foliations; holomorphic maps; harmonic morphism;

    Abstract : A harmonic morphism is a map between two Riemannian manifolds with the property that its composition with a local harmonic function on the codomain is a local harmonic function on the domain. Such a map is automatically a harmonic map, satisfying an additional partial conformality condition called horizontal (weak) conformality. READ MORE

  4. 4. Cubic Cell Membrane Architectures. Taking another look at membrane bound cell spaces

    Author : Tomas Landh; Livsmedelsteknik; []
    Keywords : TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Livsmedelsteknik; Food and drink technology; projections; image analysis; periodic cubic surfaces; membrane morphology; cubic membranes; cell ultrastructure;

    Abstract : A systematic study of cell membrane morphologies whose structure is governed by cubic symmetries has been performed. It is suggested that they are described by periodic cubic surfaces for which space filling surface foliations given by truncated Fourier series defined by the space groups is used as structural representations. 5. 5. The origin of the Ryllshyttan stratabound Zn-Pb-Ag-(Cu) + magnetite deposit, Garpenberg, Bergslagen, Sweden

    Author : Nils Jansson; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Malmgeologi; Ore Geology;

    Abstract : Ryllshyttan is a Palaeoproterozoic lower amphibolite-facies poly-metamorphosed stratabound Zn-Pb-Ag-(Cu) + magnetite deposit. It is located in the Garpenberg inlier of the Bergslagen mining district of southern Sweden and produced ~ 1 Mt sulphide ore and ~ 0.4 Mt magnetite ore from the early 16th century until 1944.
