  1. 1. Lanthanide Metal-Organic Frameworks and Hierarchical Porous Zeolitic Imidazolate Frameworks : Synthesis, Properties, and Applications

    Author : Hani Nasser Abdelhamid; Xiaodong Zou; Belén Martín-Matute; Banglin Chen; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Metal-organic frameworks; Zeolitic imidazolate frameworks; Lanthanide MOFs; Hierarchical porous ZIFs; Inorganic Chemistry; oorganisk kemi;

    Abstract : This thesis presents the synthesis, properties, and applications of two important classes of metal-organic frameworks (MOFs); lanthanide MOFs and hierarchical porous zeolitic imidazolate frameworks (ZIFs). The materials have been characterized using a wide range of techniques including diffraction, imaging, various spectroscopic techniques, gas sorption, dynamical light scattering (DLS) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). 4. 4. Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs) for Heterogeneous Catalysis : Synthesis and Characterization

    Author : Mikaela Gustafsson; Xiaodong Zou; Pascal Van Der Voort; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; metal-organic frameworks; zeolitic imidazolate frameworks; functionalized linkers; structural transformation; heterogeneous catalysis; Structural Chemistry; strukturkemi;

    Abstract : Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are crystalline hybrid materials with interesting chemical and physical properties. This thesis is focused on the synthesis and characterization of different MOFs and their use in heterogeneous catalysis. READ MORE

  5. 5. Development of Metal–Organic Frameworks for Catalysis : Designing Functional and Porous Crystals

    Author : Fabian Carson; Xiaodong Zou; Jeffrey R. Long; Stockholms universitet; []
    Keywords : NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Metal–organic frameworks; heterogeneous catalysis; nanoparticles; metallolinkers; postsynthetic modification; postsynthetic exchange; Inorganic Chemistry; oorganisk kemi;

    Abstract : Metal–organic frameworks, or MOFs, have emerged as a new class of porous materials made by linking metal and organic units. The easy preparation, structural and functional tunability, ultrahigh porosity, and enormous surface areas of MOFs have led to them becoming one of the fastest growing fields in chemistry. READ MORE
