11. Fluids, Gels and Crystals : Phase behavior of binary thermoresponsive microgel mixtures
Abstract : Thermoresponsive colloidal microgels expel solvent from their interior upon crossing a threshold temperature, resulting in a significantly reduced size. The collapse of microgels can reversibly switch the interparticle interactions from soft repulsive to attractive, and the accompanying size reduction allows for precise control over volume fraction. 12. Advances in Accident Tolerant Fuel Research by Doping of Uranium Nitride
Abstract : Nuclear energy is a carbon-free energy source alternative often considered less harmful to the environment than fossil fuels. However, accidents have shown that there are some safety concerns regarding nuclear energy that need to be assessed before it can be considered completely safe. READ MORE

13. Fabrication and Testing of Doped Uranium Nitride as an Accident Tolerant Fuel Alternative
Abstract : Nuclear energy is a carbon-free energy source often considered less harmful to the environment than fossil fuels. However, accidents have shown that there are some safety concerns regarding nuclear energy that need to be continuously assessed and further improved. READ MORE

14. Complexation between hydrophobically modified polymers and amylose. Gelation and competition by surfactants
Abstract : Aqueous mixtures of hydrophobically modified polymers (HMP) with amylose have been investigated by rheology and 1H NMR. Amylose can cross-link HMP chains by forming single-helical inclusion complexes with the hydrophobic side chains of the HMP, leading to thermoreversible, elastic, and thixotropic gels at ambient temperatures. 15. Phase separation, aggregation and gelation of a charged helixforming polysaccharide in aqueous salt solution
Abstract : The phase behaviour and gelation of the anionic polysaccharide kappa-carrageenan (KC) in different salt solutions was studied. The specific site binding of certain anions and certain cations to the KC helix was used as a means of controlling the interactions. READ MORE
