1. Future stability of the Einstein-Maxwell-Scalar field system and non-linear wave equations coupled to generalized massive-massless Vlasov equations
Abstract : This thesis consists of two articles related to mathematical relativity theory. In the first article we prove future stability of certain spatially homogeneous solutionsto Einstein’s field equations. The matter model is assumed to consist of an electromagnetic field and a scalar field with a potential creating an accelerated expansion. READ MORE

2. Speaking of Geometry : A study of geometry textbooks and literature on geometry instruction for elementary and lower secondary levels in Sweden, 1905-1962, with a special focus on professional debates
Abstract : This dissertation deals with geometry instruction in Sweden in the period 1905-1962. The purpose is to investigate textbooks and other literature used by teachers in elementary schools (ES) and lower secondary schools (LSS) – Folkskolan and Realskolan – connection to geometry instruction. 3. Geometric Decompositions and Networks - Approximation Bounds and Algorithms
Abstract : In this thesis we focus on four problems in computational geometry: In the first four chapters we consider the problem of covering an arbitrary polygon with simpler polygons, i.e., rectangles. READ MORE

4. Tangential Derivations, Hilbert Series and Modules over Lie Algebroids
Abstract : Let A/k be a local commutative algebra over a field k of characteristic 0, and T_{A/k} be the module of k-linear derivations on A. We study, in two papers, the set of k-linear derivations on A which are tangential to an ideal I of A (preserves I), defining an A-submodule T_{A/k}(I) of T_{A/k}, which moreover is a k-Lie subalgebra. 5. Geometric Models of Similarity
Abstract : This dissertation examines and discusses some phenomena related to the geometric representation of similarity. It takes its inspiration from the existing body of empirical research within the fields of perceptual and cognitive psychology, but also connects to certain areas of machine learning. READ MORE
