Abstract : The deep biosphere refers to the vast ecosystem of life beneath the Earth’s surface, residing in the fractured bedrock and pores of rocks, largely isolated from solar energy. These fractures enclose an important reservoir of groundwater that contains microorganisms active in processes such as the uptake of inorganic carbon, sulfur cycling, or the degradation of organic matter. 3. Colonoscopy : Introduction and development, completion rates, complications and cancer detection
Abstract : In a population-based study in the county of Södermanland, 6066 colonoscopies performed in 4304 patients from 1979 to 1995 inclusive were evaluated. As indications, bleeding increased and polyps and unclear x-ray findings decreased. Surveillance (cancer, polyps, colitis) was fairly stable. READ MORE

Abstract : The overall objectives of this thesis were to increase the understanding of the etiology of spontaneous abortion and repeated spontaneous abortion, and to evaluate possibilities of exposure assessment during pregnancy.
