1. Adolescent mental health : time trends and validity of self-report measures
Abstract : Background: Studies of time trends of adolescent self-reported mental health suggest an increase of mental health symptoms globally. Unfortunately, several studies within the field have methodological problems, such as short time-period between measurements and different mental health measures over time. READ MORE

2. Factors influencing the inflammatory response and secondary infection in rat pancreatitis
Abstract : A rat~model for bile-induced acute pancreatitis is used throughout the experiments. The model, which is well known, mimics the assumed events leading to biliary pancreatitis. The mortality from acute pancreatitis with this model was 23-33% and 73% of all deaths occurred within the first 24 hours. READ MORE

3. Road traffic noise reduction by multiple scattering and absorption mechanisms
Abstract : Millions of people in Europe, and even more on a global scale, are affected by environ- mental noise. Traffic related noise is estimated to cause a yearly loss of approximately one million healthy life years in Western Europe, which is mostly related to road traffic noise. READ MORE

4. Resilient and permanent deformation behavior of unbound aggregates under repeated loading
Abstract : During recent decades, growing interest in the developmentof so-called analytical or mechanistic road pavement designmethods has resulted in substantial research into themechanical behavior of the materials involved. In flexiblepavements, especially when unsurfaced or thinly surfaced, overall structural performance is largely dependent on thebehavior of the unbound granular base and subbase layers. READ MORE
